Slime without glue and only two ingredients

There are a handful of “2 ingredient slime recipes.” So what makes this one different? This recipe makes a play dough like slime consistency, and if that’s what you’re looking to make, this recipe is perfect!

2 household ingredients

2 tablespoons corn starch

1 1/2 tablespoons dish soap

I love how this slime recipe teaches you how to make slime without glue or borax or flour!

Troubleshooting the consistency

Even though I’ve given you measurements for ingredients, start with these measurements and alter them as needed.

Since there are only two ingredients it should be easy trouble shoot. If the “slime” is too dry, add a little dish soap. If it’s too wet, add more corn starch. It’s really that easy. And since you aren’t using a “slime activator” you don’t have to worry about watering down the activator or adding different materials to make sure it holds together.

Is that really it? Yes! Does it really work? Let me show you and you can come to your own conclusions.

Does it feel like slime?

Honestly in my opinion, this is a great dough-like slime recipe especially for young children.  If you are looking to make easy homemade play dough, this recipe is a great way to make your own with household ingredients.
