Crafting with Kids

There are those days when we’re in between holidays, the sky is gloomy, the kids seem to be at lose ends, and everybody is fidgeting, when we just need something to do that makes us smile. Making something with our hands really seems to brighten even the most uninspiring day. When we’re making crafts just for fun there’s no hurry, no deadline, and no pressure. Just some good, creative fun. Everybody in the house can join in with their own unique style and method. It’s interesting to see what comes of Dad sitting down with a seashell candle and decorating it his way! How about a tambourine, drum, flute, or triangle to start your own orchestra? Or maybe some sock puppets will be just your family’s ticket to creating your own theatre production. No matter what you create, your family will spend some good time together and will most definitely share some good laughs, too.
