All people love to make crafts. Craft making is a great hobby that involves creativity and some attention to give a shape of your idea. One drawback to some of the more popular craft-types is that they require special tools to get started and that costs money.

This is when it pays to be especially creative!

There are crafts that can easily be made from items readily available in your own home. And, as an added benefit, you can teach your children the important lessons of reusing and recycling!

Some common household items that make great craft tools are egg cartons, grocery bags, CDS, Used birthday cards, Cardboard inserts from packaging and boxes, paper towel rolls and Toilet paper, Plastic soda bottles, Cans, T-shirts that no longer fit, Wrapping paper and Old denim or fabric swatches.

Once you have your materials together it’s just a matter of you and your child putting your brains together to come up with some cool crafty ideas!
