If you’re anything like me you’ll be terribly gung ho in concern doing things with small regard to performing extensive research beforehand. The normal result of this cavalier attitude is usually costly mistakes and time wasted. Sometimes even the smallest fraction of time makes the change between life and death just ask James Dean, oh that’s right you can’t because he’s dead. Another meaningless statistic on life’s highway, if you want to grow old stay off the road is the lesson of the story that or get some new wiper blade on a frequent basis. So in order to avoid this baleful consequence here’s some handy hints on replacing your wiper blades.

Lift the replacement wiper blades up off and above from the windscreen so that they pivot about the arm in an upright attitude. If you are having troubles with this step try turning on the ignition and the replacement wiper blades will accordingly come out and away from its housing. Take a look at the existing method used to attach the replacement wiper blades to the arm; more often than not there is a tab which will need to be pressed in order to let go the replacement wiper blades from its attachments.

Give the wipers a tug and it should come away without too much trouble from the arm and then remove the wipers entirely. Make sure you give the wind screen a great wash with a sponge and some cold soapy water prior to fitting your new wipers to abstain contamination with grease and dirt. Consider applying some anti seize formula to prevent the arm from stiffening up too much, next you are ready to pull in the new wipers. Sometimes you will need to fasten some screws to anchor the new wipers other times it basically slides into place. That’s it you’re done, now go inside and put your feet up and have some vodka to celebrate. Once you’ve done something once it is even faster to do it a second time so here’s some advice on buying new wipers for your car. Make sure you get the optimal size for your particular model of car this can be found in the driver’s manual or on the side of the old wipers.
